In partnership with the Howard County Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration, HC DrugFree’s semi-annual medication collection will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bring any expired or unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medication to our convenient drive-thru event. National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day
Friday, August 21 is National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day. Fentanyl is involved in more deaths of Americans under 50 than any other cause, including heart disease, cancer, homicide, and suicide.
