This summer, HC DrugFree is staying active across Howard County: meeting face-to-face with youth, parents, and local leaders to promote prevention, wellness, and safety.
Our team has been busy attending community events, participating in youth leadership programs, and having important conversations about substance use prevention, mental health, and making safe, informed choices. As always, we remind parents and caregivers to safely store all medications in secure locations to keep them away from your loved ones and to properly dispose of unwanted/expired medications.
By connecting directly with young people and the adults who support them, we’re building relationships that strengthen our programs year-round. These outreach efforts help us understand the real challenges families are facing and share resources that can make a difference.
