In a meeting at the State's Attorney's Office, Howard County Senior Assistant State's Attorney Cindy Johnson (left in picture) and HC DrugFree Executive Director Joan Webb Scornaienchi (center) were congratulated by Deputy State's Attorney Kim Oldham (right) for being elected to serve as the 2017 officers of the Howard County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Advisory Board (ADAAB).
Ms. Scornaienchi is beginning her 7th consecutive term as chair of ADAAB. Ms. Johnson, representing State's Attorney Dario Broccolino on this board, is beginning her first term as vice chair.
While not on ADAAB, Ms. Oldham serves on the Overdose Fatality Review Team (OFRT) with Ms. Scornaienchi and is committed to educating the community.
ADAAB, a 27 person board, is to foster, promote and facilitate a collaborative effort among entities in behavioral health education/prevention, treatment/rehabilitation and law enforcement/criminal justice to reduce behavioral health issues in Howard County.
